When speaking of beauty, a bus station is probably not the first association that springs to mind. Unfortunately, the bare waiting rooms fall far short of being examples of good and stimulating design. Yet the new main bus terminal in Velenje, by Guzič Trplan architects, trades these negative connotations for the moment of excitement before the beginning of a journey. It reminds us, that a bus station is not a place of stillness, but of constant movement, of the flow of transport, and a portal to experiences and the possibility of adventure.
